World Wildlife Day

On Friday 3rd March pupils took part in World Wildlife Day, an international event which is organised locally by Secret World Wildlife Rescue in Highbridge.   Many pupils and staff dressed in animal-themed clothing and the day was filled with activities focusing on our pets and favourite animals. There was also an opportunity for pupils to meet some real-life animals. Many thanks to all the animals who came to visit us and their owners. The day ended with an assembly in which pupils sat on tables in mixed class groups, sharing their photos and talking about their pets.  We have a beautiful mosaic in the hall, which is made from pupils’ paintings, pastel drawings, collages and prints of animal skins and markings, as a reminder of the day.
